Welcome to Caretta Diving Centre, a 5 star PADI gold Palm Resort and CMAS centre based in the Turkish resort of Fethiye. In recent years, Turkey has become an increasingly attractive destination for divers offering warm, clear water, a large variety of sites, quality accommodation and a good range of activities for nondivers. Allowing many divers to incorporate the family with a diving holiday, something that as divers will know can be an increasingly difficult task.

At Caretta diving centre we believe in providing a high level of service in a friendly and safe environment for divers and non divers alike. Our experienced and professional Instructors, guides and Crew are all passionate about diving, and about providing a high quality, first class service. So be it that you're a complete beginner or an experienced and hardy diver, then at Caretta Diving Centre we can support your every need.

Caretta Diving centre is a centre with a difference, we are highly committed to preserving the marine environment, not just for divers but for future generations. We have our own resident Marine Biologist who is actively working to record changes to the ecosystem here in Fethiye, and working closely with the team involved in the rescue and monitoring of the Caretta caretta Sea Turtles which return the Bay of Fethiye to lay their eggs each year.

Fethiye forms the jewel of the Turkish coastline. Our monitoring of the marine life levels enveloped within our Carretta Conservation projects are showing that the banning of drag net fishing in the area has led to the return of shoals of fish stock and marine life haapy to return to populate the reefs and caverns in the area.

Diving conditions are generally excellent throughout the diving season from March to November with visibility often over 30 meters and water temperatures between 16°C and 31°C.

Turkeys underwater landscape is a varied selection of reefs, walls, dramatic drop-offs, stunning caverns, and beautiful swim-throughs. The cavern's and swim-trough's are often adorned with a kaleidoscope of encrusting corals and coralline algae adding a beautiful array of colour. Ideal for the budding underwater photographer.

FOR 2009 Caretta Diving Center is working with our sister company Elite Diving Academy. Doing dives in the morning so you can be back at your hotel for lunch with friends and family. Leaving the afernoons free......or you can come and join us on research dives in the afternoon.
