And whats new for the 2009 Season

Caretta Diving Centre is a PADI 5 Star Gold Palm Resort and was borne from a desire to set up a new diving facility in Fethiye which promotes excellent customer service combined with high-quality diving standards. The founders of the centre have a wealth of experience in this regard: they have all worked for a number of years in some of the most highly-regarded dive centres in the world. Our instructors speak fluent English, Turkish and German.

Caretta Diving Centre is highly committed to preserving our local dive environment and native marine species. With our own marine biologist on board we promote diver awareness of the fragility of our underwater world, and are keen to encourage proper dive practices, but also for our divers to develop further knowledge of their environment. We are supporting local efforts to monitor and rescue the Loggerhead Caretta caretta turtles which migrate each year to breed on the Fethiye coastline.

For 2009 we are working with our sister company Elite Diving Academy offering all the standard dives and courses in the morning. Leaving the afternoons for our Marine Biologist to conduct research. Depending on the time of year you visit Fethiye there are a number of projects running with the Caretta caretta sea Turtles and a selection of underwater projects with many more to start in 2009 and 2010.
